Comment:
Hello, I am Antoine Lachaud, 24 years old, from France. I was born in Paris but I have grown up in the suburbs. I have a master of science in Telecommunication engineering and I have a deep interest in signal processing (imaging and sound processing).
I have many hobbies, first of all I like to play piano and video games. I also enjoy watching American series and Japanese animes. I also recently developed an interest for reading (phantasy). Finally sometimes I like to go out with my friends.
I chose to do an internship in Japan because I am fascinated from an early age by the Japanese culture.

インターン生の日本の感想

Having seen many anime and Japanese movies, I already knew some aspects of Japanese culture. But fiction and real life are two different things, so I was anxious to discover the Japanese way of life. Japan and France have very different cultures, so with no surprise, I suffered what is commonly called culture shock. The tatemae is a case in point. But paradoxically, this allowed me to better appreciate the Japanese society. Indeed, as I did not understand some customs, I asked about their origins and I was able to gain a deeper understanding of that culture. But what has caught my attention is the Japanese hospitality. Members of AIESEC and my colleagues were very welcoming, which made my stay a great experience.
