Comment:
Hello! I am Mateus Cruz, 24 years old, from Brazil! I was born in a city called Santa Maria da Vitória, but I have been living in another city called Salvador for quite a long time. I have a bachelor degree in Computer Science and, regarding the academic field, I especially like studying topics related to databases.
My hobbies include music, games and reading, but I also like to go out with my friends and to meet new people. I decided to do an internship abroad because I believe it would be a great experience and a unique opportunity to develop my professional skills, as well as myself as a human being.

イグアスの滝 サンパウロ市 Brazil is a country with many different places, cultures and peoples.
Because of this diversity, we have some very specific traits in each part of the country. For example, in the state of Bahia, there is a strong influence of the African culture. Meanwhile, in the south there is a strong influence of the European culture. So there are many particular types of food, music and other kinds of cultural expression depending on the place you go. That is why I believe that Brazil is a very rich country culturally speaking.
Regarding famous places in Brazil, starting from the northern part, there is the Amazon Forest, which is very rich in terms of biodiversity. In the northeast, there are many beautiful beaches and other fascinating places, like the Lençóis Maranhenses National Park and Chapada Diamantina National Park. In the west, there is the Pantanal, which is a tropical wetland with also a great biodiversity. In the southeastern part of Brazil, there are a lot of big cities (e.g. São Paulo) and urban landscapes, but also some incredible natural places (e.g. Sugarloaf Mountain). Finally, in the south, there is the Iguazu Falls, among many other worth visiting places.
インターン生の日本の感想

I found out many differences between Brazil and Japan. I am particularly impressed by the organization of some services in Japan (e.g. the public transportation) and also by the courtesy of the Japanese people (especially in business activities). Despite the shyness, the Japanese people tend to be very helpful and friendly.
Another aspect I have noticed is that there are many influences from other cultures. However, instead of the Japanese losing their cultural traits, they use these influences in their own way. This can be especially seen in music and fashion.
I believe I have learned many things in Japan that would be good to be applied in Brazil. I plan to tell more about these ideas to the people I know in Brazil, in order to make it a better country.
